The Citizenship Education (CE) vision for FMSP is for every Fairsian to become a passionate citizen in knowledge acquisition of national issues and in their service to the community.
Citizenship education in the school is governed by the citizenship education framework shown below.

The NE matrix explains how the Fairfield Outcomes, SE competencies and values are linked to citizenship education in the school.

To grow pupils to become concerned citizens who contribute positively to the community, the school has a 6 year developmental community involvement project (CIP)/ Service learning (SL) framework. P1 - 3 pupils participate in projects closer to home and P4 - 6 pupils are given opportunities to bless the community and the larger community.

Learning Journeys
Meaningful learning journeys are planned each year to help pupils learn more about Singapore and the world around them. These are the journeys planned for 2012.

No man is an island. This statement is so true in the context of globalisation. It is crucial for our pupils to understand what is going on in the world around them and this is done through our internationalisation programme.
